This hotel is a hidden gem in a fantastic location in the city center, literally behind the cathedral. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms with mezzanine beds are unique and cozy, and there is a lovely outdoor terrace to relax on. The breakfast is a real treat with fresh made pancakes and the option to cook eggs to your liking.
The only minor aspect that could be improved is the noise from opening the compartments for bags in the room.

Interior, a room heater, bathroom
Location of rooms in different buildings, waiting at the reception and a large common table in the kitchen, a few small tables would be better

Atmosphere, cozy, a good breakfast, a huge bed, excellent staff, a bicycle for 5 euros a day - it's awesome! The best hostel I've seen in Spain for so little money

This hotel is literally behind the cathedral in the center of Cádiz, making it the perfect location to explore the old town. The staff are friendly and provide great service, and the basic amenities in the rooms on the 3rd floor with no elevator are sufficient for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served with fresh made pancakes is a delightful start to the day.
The lack of a separate bed that we had booked, with the bed in a loft or on a couch directly in front of our room.

Interesting old house with spiral staircase and access to the top floor. The guests are mostly young people. Breakfast is very modest and there's only one table. Everyone surrounds it in the morning and it's not quite convenient. the port, railway and bus station are nearby.
A couple more tables and chairs at breakfast.

Atmosphere, furnishings, roof with hammocks, pancakes for breakfast, guitar in the evening.
No elevator. There's no warning about that. It's impossible to drag a suitcase up the spiral staircase alone. Shower's attached to the ceiling and can't be removed.

The location of Casa Caracol was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for places to eat and sights to see. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a heater to keep us warm. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, and the breakfast included delicious fluffy pancakes. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the squeaky bed frame and lack of curtain on the top bunk, our overall experience at Casa Caracol was exceptional. The facilities were in great condition, the atmosphere was quiet and cool, and the generous breakfast and coffee surpassed our expectations. We would definitely recommend Casa Caracol to others. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel.

I had an incredible time at Casa Caracol! The friendly staff immediately made me feel like part of a welcoming and enjoyable group. The comfortable beds and numerous bathrooms meant no waiting. The simple yet lovely breakfast could easily be enhanced with items from a nearby market. The shared dinners were a great way to connect with fellow travelers. Renting bikes was affordable and a fantastic way to explore. The rooftop chill-out area, complete with hammocks, was like our own private retreat. Casa Caracol's unique style and environmental friendliness added to its charm.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a great location. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The highlight for me was the rooftop terrace with hammocks and tropical plants - the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. I also loved the opportunities to meet other travelers and chat with the staff. Highly recommended!
No major issues, everything was totally fine.

Great location near the train and bus stations, which made exploring the area really easy. the breakfast included pancakes, which were a tasty treat. the bathrooms were always impeccably clean.
My Christmas stay was less than jolly due to some issues. the towels given to me had a damp, stinky smell which ruined my shower experience.

The location is perfect, with all the desirable places to visit in old town Cádiz just a short walk away. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms on the 3rd floor may require some steps, but they are clean and well-equipped with basic amenities, and the mattresses ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The buffet breakfast, including fresh made pancakes and eggs cooked to our liking, was a delicious and satisfying start to the day.
All was fantastic, I couldn't ask for more.
